The focus is on pancreatic carcinoma (pancreatic cancer) and urothelial carcinoma (bladder cancer) - two tumor types for which no reliable blood tests are currently available.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1413\" data-end=\"1899\">In order to achieve this goal <strong data-start=\"1447\" data-end=\"1461\">mir|detect<\/strong> RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) on clinical samples. The most promising biomarkers are then analysed using the company's proprietary and patented <strong data-start=\"1620\" data-end=\"1643\">panta|Q<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> Technology<\/strong> into a prototype in-vitro diagnostic (IVD). The test system is verified in a proof-of-concept study, followed by comprehensive testing of the analytical performance parameters in accordance with the requirements of the <strong data-start=\"1876\" data-end=\"1898\">Regulation (EU) 2017\/746 IVDR<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1901\" data-end=\"2267\">The end point of the project is the development of a fully tested and verified IVD prototype that fulfils all the technical and analytical requirements for a clinical trial and subsequent CE-IVD certification. This will create the basis for bringing liquid biopsy tests for various types of cancer onto the market in the future.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6c7682e elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"6c7682e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h5 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Significance for Bremerhaven as a biotechnology center<\/h5>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-10c224e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"10c224e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The project strengthens Bremerhaven as a biotechnology centre and creates new, highly qualified jobs in research and development.
